We’re not over this year’s Electric Picnic yet, but festival organiser Melvin Benn, has already announced that tickets for Electric Picnic 2017 go on sale this Friday.

“We want to announce as of now, that tickets are going to go on sale from Friday morning at nine o’clock. The ninth at nine o’clock.” said Benn, at his annual festival news conference.

Benn also confirmed that the festivals capacity will remain 55,000 and that one-day tickets will once again only be available for the festival Sunday. It’s not all good news though as some prices will be rising for loyalty programme ticket holders.

“The same loyalty programme will go in. It will be the same principal. I’m going to increase the price of the loyalty tickets by €5.”

And before you ask, there is no line-up news and there won’t be any until March.
