Sheerios rejoyce, Ed Sheeran has shared not one, but two new singles today Castle on the Hill and Shape of You from his upcoming third album รท Divide.

Castle On The Hill showcases the rockier Snow Patrol-esque side of Sheeran as he reminisces about growing up in the country and all of the mischief he got up to with his friends before he was famous. Some of which will no doubt upset the parents of his legions of fans – but after all, isn’t that exactly what our popstars are supposed to do.

Shape Of You meanwhile, showcases his ability to create the type of simple, earworm melody that has made him the biggest artist on the planet today. Expect this one to be un-excapable in the coming months.

Love him or loath him, there will be no escaping Ed Sheeran in the coming months as promo for ‘Divide’ ramps up.

Listen to both tracks below.

Shape of you was co-written with Snow Patrol‘s Jonny McDaid and was originally intended for superstar diva Rhianna. This track is sure to be a massive hit in the coming months.
