UK hip hop sensation Easy Life have dropped a new mixtape ahead of their show in The Workman’s on April 7th.

“Easy Life is a form of escapism,” explains head honcho Murray. “Living is proving to be increasingly difficult with all the pressures that modern life brings, and easy life rejects this materialistic philosophy; easy life is a hedonistic vision. When we coined the name there was a lot less thinking involved, but it feels like we have embodied the name over time rather than setting out from day one knowing exactly what it is we were looking for.”

Their second mixtape ‘Spaceships’ is a six-track blast of urban/indie kitchen sink drama and chilled Chance The Rapper-esque gospel with a dash of Dilla thrown in for good measure.

The five-piece have generated over 11 million streams on Spotify since their debut release Pockets in 2017 and are hotly tipped to be one of the UK’s biggest breakthrough acts of 2019.

Easy Life at The Workman’s Club, Dublin April 7th. Tickets €13.00.
