Ceol ar an Imeall, TG4’s alternative music programme returns on Tuesday February 24th for a sixth series at 9:30pm with a host of great Irish acts featuring over the course of its ten episodes as well as interviews with some of the most interesting names in music.

Kicking off with Tori Amos, the iconic singer-songwriter talks about her love of Irish mythology and how her music has evolved over three decades. Fight Like Apes perform live in the TG4 studio in Connemara with songs from their upcoming third album. Noise pop 5 piece September Girls also grace the studio stage with live performances.

Other Irish acts playing live in the series include Ailie Blunnie, Darling, The Young Folk, Colm Mac Con Iomaire, We Cut Corners, Elaine Mai, Acrobat, Paddy Hanna, Me and My Dog, Conor Walsh, Liza Flume, Moscow Metro, The Notas, Tell No Foxx, Hare Squead, Meltybrains?, Morning Veils, Slow Skies, Ultan Conlon, and Swords.

In addition, over ten programmes presenter Una Mullally interviews international acts such as John Grant, Metronomy, Danny Brown, Lucius, Sheppard, Speedy Ortiz, Bombay Bicycle Club, Angel Olsen and Kurt Vile.
