There’s never a dull moment on twitter, but yesterday the VMA nominations came out and Minaj had some choice words that seemed to be aimed at Taylor Swift.

Swift didn’t take too kindly to it, suggesting she has done nothing but support Minaj. It’s all a bit handbags at dawn. As the conversion unfolds Minaj seems to be suggesting that black artists are overlooked despite breaking the same records that get others nominated. It’s all fairly heavy.

However leave it to Mr Uptown Funk to steal the show and lighten the mood, he stepped in with a saucy little tweet, feeling left out of all the twitter beef, he decided to take it out on probably the most unlikely of foes, Ed Sheeran. Ed isn’t one to take things sitting down.

It didn’t take long for some fans and some photoshop to get involved.

Bruno and Ed taking it up a notch to bring some freestyle rap into proceedings. Who will win this war of taking the attention off bickering music stars. We think they are both winners. No Bad Blood over here.

Ed Sheeran will be in Croke Park this weekend.
