London based Irish hip hop artist Biig Piig goes in search of ‘A World Without Snooze, Vol.2’ in her second EP featuring her recent single Nothing Changes.

Born in Cork and later raised in Spain, Waterford and Kerry before moving to London aged 14, Smyth, as she puts it is from “all over the shop”. It is unsurprising then that identity and perception also loom large in her music.

‘A World Without Snooze Vol.2’ is the follow-up to ‘Big Fan Of The Sesh, Vol.1’ which featured her breakthrough single Perdida. Big Piig plans to continue the numerical theme going forwards.

“I’m gonna do three EPs under different titles. Different stories that add up to the person I am and the reason I’m doing music”  Jess Smyth aka Biig Piig told us back in January in an in-depth interview for our Plec Picks series – Read the full interview here.

‘A World Without Snooze Vol.2’ once again sees Biig Piig collaborating with London artists and labelmates Mac Wetha and Kxcrn. Surprisingly, recent single Raze: Plan B has been omitted from the collection.

Expect to see Biig Piig at an Irish festival near you this summer following a successful appearance at last year’s inaugural All Together Now festival.
