Brighton duo ARXX have announced details of their new album ‘Ride Or Die’ (out March 31st on Submarine Cat Records)) and shared the album’s title track which is inspired by music legend Sister Rosetta Tharpe.

“To us it’s about a lot of things, primarily it speaks about the kind of commitment and dedication to something you love, that means there is no possible or conceivable way that you would give up on it. In one breath it is an unapologetic celebration of queer love, and in the next breath it expresses the unwavering determination that we both hold for our band.”

“A huge inspiration to this song and to the band in general comes from Sister Rosetta Tharpe. She is the reason Hanni plays electric guitar. The combination of classic rock and roll and references to Church are a nod to her and her influence on the band.”

As well as news on the album ARXX have also announced an Irish tour with dates in Kilkenny, Dublin, Limerick and Galway (details below).
