Villagers {Awaylands}Top lads! Villagers have managed to make history as the first Irish act ever to be nominated twice for the prestigious Mercury Music Prize.

Their album {Awayland} is in with 12 other albums shortlisted for this years Mercury Prize. It’s the follow up to their debut ‘Becoming A Jackal’ which also got nominated back in 2010.

The Mercury Music Prize will take place on Wednesday 30th October at the Roundhouse in London.
