There was something brewing in the water in 2002. Not only was that the year Goldenplec officially started, but Rubyworks also started and the best showcase of Irish talent on these shores, Hard Working Class Heroes started up.
It’s amazing that all three entities still exist today and each year Hard Working Class Heroes has gotten bigger and better, and the selection process harder and harder with the increasing quality year on year. The full Hard Working Class Heroes 2012 lineup was released yesterday and they uploaded this lovely video of bands and press reminiscing on what HWCH has done for them over the years.
