Tracey Chapman and Chickenfoot for Cork Marquee

The Marquee has added 2 notable additions to its lineup for 2009 with Tracey Chapman being the latest addition as she will play on June 22nd

Tickets for Chapmans gig will be €44.20 on sale Monday March 30th.

The other band Chickenfoot is even more interesting again, its a complete mashup of legendary musicians consisting of Sammy Hagar and Micheal Anthony of Van Halen, Virtuoso Guitarist Joe Satriani, and Red Hot Chili Peppers Drummer Chad Smith, That is SOME combination of musicians.

Tickets for that gig are €44.20 and go on sale Tuesday March 31st.

“We are truly over-the-top excited about this,” the guitarist extraordinaire says. “It’s a very energetic kind of rock music that reminds you of early Zeppelin.” said Satriani in a recent interview.

Sounds like it could be an absolute corker. They will be going into Studio before Labour day and should have the album released in time for the gig.
