A few weeks back a call out for Irish rappers was put to the people and entries came in from far and wide around the country.
The competition was judged by US rapper Hoodie Allen and DJ Frank Jez and DJ Ahmed. They whittled it down to three top rising acts to support Lil Wayne in The O2.
This concert a rescheduled date originally 8th March, which was postponed in order to accommodate the release of Lil Wayne’s tenth studio album, ‘I Am Not A Human Being II’. All tickets are fully valid for the new date.
We’re told you definitely want to get in early, firstly for the 3 winning support acts, as they deserve a crowd, but also as Lil Wayne’s stage show is said to be one of the most elaborate ever built in The O2, Dublin. 28 truckloads of staging equipment and a full scale Skate Park being put into the arena.
