Three-piece acoustic rock band, and one of GP’s ‘Ones to Watch’, The Radioactive Grandma have announced their debut album launch gig for Dublin in December. Sweeney’s, Dame St. on December 8th is the day that the former UK based band will launch their debut at the city centre venue.
The band’s sound is that of a cajon mixed with two guitars and vocals harmonies, and they’ve been making some very quiet waves over the last number of months.
Having launched their album independently earlier in the year, The Radioactive Grandma are re-releasing the LP on the newly established label CYOF (Chew You Own Fat) and the Sweeney’s show marks the beginning of their relationship with the new label.
