Slane: 2011 lineup announced
Today we can reveal that the Slane 2011 lineup will consist of more than just Kings of Leon. Lord Henry Mountcharles with his yearly event taking shape.
The event takes place on Saturday 28th May and with any luck the sun will be out the Slane Castle will be heaving. We already know the 80,000 crowd is sold out at prices of around €79 per ticket in around 40 minutes meaning the sell out crowd was never in doubt thanks to the following Kings Of Leon have built up here over the previous years.
So who will be the bonus treats supporting on the day/evening/night?. Well lets just answer that question.

Not regretting missing out on tickets anymore, not a great lineup for me.
Kings of leon or not most people buy their tickets for this as a music festival not just one big band,and this must be the worst line up ever,Terrible. Was a group of 8 of us going,will prob all sell our tickets now after this poor line up and from the looks of the reaction online and through slane facebook pages there’s many doing the same,many looking to music events else where instead of this waste.
Irionically the big slane anniversary year is looking to be the worst on record and maybe yet see smaller crowds,all it needs now is a rainy day anmd this awful line up will not keep punters happy
