Who are your favourite Irish artists at the moment?

Tough question as there are so very many Irish bands we love. We’ll give it a go … sorry if we leave anyone out!

The Eskies, Katie Kim, Rufus Coates and the Blackened Trees, Ye Vagabonds, Lisa O’Neill, The Magpies, Garrett Baker, St. John the Gambler, Hozier, My Fellow Sponges, Rivers and Crows, Winston Pinstripe, The Rag Men and Alpaca Jamboree.

Apart from the #GoldenBeck gig, what’s coming up for you this year?

We are starting to run classes for Ostriches who dream of tightrope walking.

In relation to music though:

We are finishing off our album, though it’s tough to say when it will be finished as there is always more work to be done! It’s all recorded and mostly mixed so it’s most of the way there though and we’re really excited about it! We’ll be organising a tour for the album around the country.

You can catch us at Temple Bar Trad Festival in January and at Dylan Thomas’ 100th birthday celebration in the Unitarian Church on Stephen’s Green on the 21st of November.

The last text message you sent is your next album title. What is it?

“Good Fishes. x”

Send us a photo and explain:

Twin Headed Wolf - #GoldenBeck“Hatching evil plans as children in a blurry old photograph.”

Twin Headed Wolf - #GoldenBeck “Because we like 2s we have included a second photograph because it is one of our favourite memories as a band. We performed for the Guerrilla Aerial at Electric Picnic and the first thing they asked us was if we wanted beards. We delightedlyaccepted! The night that followed was one of the most hilarious and outrageously fun gigs and nights. So thank you Guerrilla Aerial. Watch out for them at festivals next year!”

Twin Headed Wolf play our ‘GoldenPlec & Claire Beck Presents…’ night at The Workmans on 23rd October.
