Who are your favourite Irish artists at the moment?
My favourite Irish acts are too many to mention! But a few of the artists I admire would be Cathy Davey, Sam Jackson, Kila, The Young Folk, Ann Scott, Cat Dowling, Enda Reilly, Ross Breen, Sarah Red, Twin Headed Wolf, Villagers, The Gloaming…I should probably stop now?
Apart from this Thursday’s gig, what’s coming up for you this year?
I’m working on some new songs at the moment, and have 3 almost finished in terms of arrangement. So my main priority is to keep the new music flowing with a view to recording another album before the year is out.:

This is one of my favourite live pictures I have. It was taken by my friend Brendan Beagon at the launch of my first album in The Grand Social a couple of years ago. I have really fond memories of that gig, so the reason I love this photo is because you can see how much fun we were having!
