Now we here at Goldenplec are a cynical bunch. We take most of what we hear about through Twitter and Facebook with a pinch of salt. Needless to say then, when we were linked to the picture below (sourced to here originally), we raised our eyebrows and quietly scoffed to ourselves. After all, it was only yesterday that this was circulating online as the Oxegen line-up.
While there is an amount of plausibility to a number of the acts on the bill and the format and fonts are quite Electric Picnic-ish, we’re not buying the story that it was “found” on one of the computers at some PR company.
If (and it’s a big if) it turns out to be the genuine article, then we may be a little aroused by it. It’s the type of line-up we’d like to take home and we’d probably even stay around for cuddles afterwards and then buy it breakfast the next morning. We probably wouldn’t even wait three days to call it again.
