Following on from a huge success last year, Whelans are one again bringing back the multi day event to make our rain-soaked January just a bit warmer. It’s four days of immense Irish music spread across Whelans and The Village from Janaury 11th to 14th 2012.

Tickets for the show are €5 for a day ticket of €10 for a festival ticket with a free pint of Heineken to all that attend. Yum! So what kind of acts can you expect to see over the four days. Well it’s not fully confirmed yet so there is more to come and we imagine the breakdown of who is playing when and where will arrive with us next week but you will definitely catch Daithi, Elaine Mai, Hello Moon, Wizards Of Firetop Mountain, Pulled Apart, Logikparty, Crayonsmith, Lamp, Melodica Deathship, Jogging, Bridges Of Madison County, Nanobot, Bantum, White Collar Boy, Last Days Of 1984, Tenaka, Reid, Trophy Boyfriend, Simon Bird, School Tour, Bouts, The North Sea, The Alarmist, The Dying Seconds and VerseChorusVerse

Tune into GP next week for the breakdown but at €10 it truly does seem too good to be true. Get on this.
