NEWSOUNDS is a brand new night of upcoming music from the best bands around coming up through the ranks. The venue will be in The Academy 2 downstairs starting on Thursday 26th February.

The Event will be a once monthly even on the last thursday of every month and debuts with The Brothers Movement whom are a dublin rock band whom have been gathering momentum in 2008 and certainly are one to watch for 2009. The supported The Dandy Warhols in 08 and released their debut single “Blind” and have been invited to play SXSW (South By South West) Festival in the State in March.

Supporting The Brothers Movement on the night will be Derry Band “Here Comes the Landed Gentry” whom are another Rock n Roll style band and Goldenplec Favourites from Swords “Blue Syndrome” for what is bound to be a rocking night out.

So if your looking for the future of Irish Music and a top Rocking night out then look no further than NEWSOUNDS for 3 of irelands best plying their trade.

Tickets are a savagely cheap €8 and given the venue it will be a nice intimate performance from all 3 bands. So pop along on the 25th for a cracking night of new music.
