New Amusement to play Whelans
To cap off a fantastic year indie quartet New Amusement have announced an intimate end of year live date Upstairs in Whelan’s on Saturday 13 December. Tickets priced €14.50 incl. booking fee are on sale at all usual ticket outlets now.
New Amusement are set to end their year on a high with their Whelan’s headliner. The bands year has already resulted in a multitude of highs namely performing for the first time at OXEGEN, opening for British Sea Power in September and then wowing crowds with an outstanding support set to Vampire Weekend in the Ambassador Theatre last month.
A recent signing to Dublin’s newest label Any Other City, New Amusement have received the plaudits from critics for their debut EP Any Port In A Storm which they released in April headed by the single Gone To Sea.
Tipped as one’s to watch for 2009, things can only get bigger and better for New Amusement. See them live in the intimate settings of Upstairs in Whelan’s on Saturday 13 December.
