A band who caught our eye a while back while playing support to Eli ‘Paperboy’ Reid, The Pacific have their debut LP ‘Pacifically’ on Saturday 11th August.

To celebrate this release they will play a launch show with support from Sisters (UK), The #1s, Womens Murder Club & Cravingz. The gig will be in Sweeneys Bar on Dame St and admission is just €5. Doors are at 9pm.

Do check them out, we think you’ll like them, even if just for their smart dress sense.

Heft Fest III

Helf Fest the third is confirmed for September in The Grand Social in Dublin.

The linuep so far is still being added to but they tell us that The Spook of the Thireenth Lock, The Dinah Brand, Shane Holly, Seti The First, Amid Ships, Roy Duffy, Barry McCormack and Hello Moon are all confirm.

There will be two stages this year, one in the beer garden and one in the main venue. The GS will be loud that night.

You Kiss By The Book

You Kiss By The Book are all set for their third album release on August third.

The album is called Family Tree and whilst we can’t give you a listen to the entire album, they did say we could share this single with you. This track is called Transport.

Panama

A new band breaking through are Panama from Dublin who released their debut single Safe Inside a few days ago.

The track is now available as a FREE download from their Bandcamp. In June just gone, they filmed an acoustic live show in front of an intimate audience which will be broadcast later in the year. They are working on a full album at the moment and if you want to see these guys live you can catch them performing alongside good friends of GP’s, Kodaline in The Academy 2 on Friday 3rd August. Trucker Diablo

Northern Irish rockers Trucker Diablo have been confirmed for another one of the UK’s big rock/metal festivals Hard Rock Hell VI in December!

The weekend tickets for this festival have already sold out, and Trucker will be sharing the bill with the likes of Ace Frehley from Kiss, ex Skid Row singer Sebastian Bach, and Buckcherry.
