GoldenPlec are delighted to be able to bring you the self titled debut album from New Secret Weapon. After we exclusively brought you the video for Look At The State Of It yesterday we didn’t want to leave you hanging too long before bringing you the album in full.
New Secret Weapon formed at the lovely Knockanstockan festival way back in 2007 so it’s great to see these guys finally release their debut album. Production duties on the album were handled by Rían Trench from Solar Bears who has worked with No Spill Blood, I Am The Cosmos, The Mighty Stef and Adebisi Shank, so you know the lads were in good hands.
After hearing these tracks you’re going to want to catch a show right? Well you’re in luck as New Secret Weapon will be down in the Button Factory this Friday and it’s only a tenner in. If you can’t make that there are plenty of opportunities to catch them over the summer as they’ll be appearing at Vantastival, Sea Sessions, KnockanStockan, LCS Festival, YouBloom, and Electric Picnic with more to be announced soon.
