Mojo GoGo and the Hot Sprockets are set to represent their country at an Irish Showcase as part of Indie Week Canada.
The two bands — who’ve both impressed us with their storming live shows on several occasions — will descend on Toronto this Friday (17 October).
Indie Week is an annual music festival held over four days and nights, featuring local & international acts performing in the heart of Toronto Showcases are judged by members of the music industry, and the top scoring act receives a trip to headline Indie Week’s sister event on this side of the Atlantic — Indie Week Ireland.
For the Irish acts, it’s a chance for some major international exposure.
“We’re really looking forward to representing Irish bands out here and hopefully opening the platform for other Irish musicians planning to travel across the Atlantic,” said Mojo GoGo drummer Jordan Carty.
