Meteor Choice Music Prize – Irish Album of the Year 2014 has been confirmed and the cogs and wheels are in motion for the 10th year of the event.
The shortlist for this year’s prize will be announced on Wednesday 7th January 2015. The live event will be held in Vicar Street again on Thursday 5th March 2015 and as usual you can expect 8-10 of the best acts in Ireland this year playing live.
Villagers and Jape are set to play shows in Cork and Galway respectively on 23rd November in Cyprus Avenue in Cork and then Roisin Dubh in Galway on November 24th. Each night will feature the uniquely different and unarguably idiosyncratic talents of Villagers and Jape plus a third Music Prize winner who shall be revealed soon.
