Are you a promising band? Believe you’ve got a big future and would love a few quid to put behind band kit or recording time? Well Meteor and the Paul McCloone show have a competition for you.
Meteor are sticking €3,000 of their hard earned money down, €1,000 for three bands, to give a leg up to the most promising unsigned solo act,duo or band in association with the Paul McCloone show, who has always been a huge supporter of local music.
So each month, January, February and March, they will award €1,000 to the band chosen from a whittled down shortlist of four. So from all the entries, the panel of judges, which including Paul McCloone will filter it to four, then each act will be featured on the show during the last week of the month. The lucky winner being announced on the last Thursday.
