Singer and actress Jane Birkin is in Dublin on Sunday to play a headline date in The National Concert Hall.
Sliding under our radar, but we spotted it in time to tell you she will be over in Dublin, playing The National Concert Hall on Sunday 27h January singing the songs of Serge Gainsbourg. JANE BIRKIN singing the songs of Serge Gainsbourg. For those who don’t know Gainsbourg, perhaps this show isn’t directed at you, as the French composer was widely regarded as one of the most important figures in French music. Jane is said to have been Serge’s muse and this special concert will be a reinterpretation of his back catalog, performed by Jane with a group of Japanese musicians.
