Sea Sessions, Ireland’s premier surf and music festival is back in Bundoran. With both great music and some of the best surf in Europe you really get excellent value for money. With headliners like Bastille, DJ Yoda and Le Galaxie last year, expect some great names for 2014.

Charleville Castle is bracing itself once again for Castlepalooza 2014. There is always a great mix of International and irish acts on the bill and you get to camp right beside a real life castle! The people at Body & Soul know how to create something special. Year after year they deliver both delight and wonder as part of Electric Picnic and more recently at their own Summer Solstice festival. Celebrate the longest day of the year at this carefully curated boutique festival.

This year’s Sunflowerfest featured over 100 acts over the weekend with a wealth of Irish talent on show. The festival in is back for 2014 with early bird tickets starting at £74.95 and camper van parking available, so if you are looking for a festival north of the boarder chock-full of quality Irish acts look no further.

In some peoples opinion, Electric Picnic 2013 was not a great year for the festival. The much praised mini-glastonbury vibe felt somewhat out of kilter, but one thing cannot be denied is that the lad’s at Festival Republic sure know how to book an all-star line-up with some of the best new bands going, Irish and international. As of yet no early bird ticket scheme have been announced, but the loyalty scheme tickets go on sale Decemeber 11th, so if you’re looking to get someone a gift and they have gone before you should definitely stay with GoldenPlec for EP ticket updates.
