Indiependence music and arts festival
Indiependence Festival takes place in Mitchelstown in Cork in Deer Park. The festival mixes top Irish acts, a small local friendly atmosphere with amazing international acts to compliment the local talent.
The festival runs on the August bank holiday weekend from the Friday through to the Sunday, giving you the Bank Holiday Monday to rest your weary heads.

SAFETY INITIATIVES
Health & Safety – The Boring but Important Stuff!!
Do dress for the occasion, it’s a festival in a field and this is Ireland! Dress for Summer but prepare for rain
Do pack some sun screen, warm weather and beer can dehydrate you
Do drink plenty of water
Do print the daily schedule so you know where and when the bands you want to see are on
Do look after your wristband, you will need it to get back in on day two!
Do observe the privacy of our neighbours as you arrive and leave the festival
Do Not bring glass, sharp objects or weapons of any sort onto the site, they will be confiscated and you will be removed from the site and worse, possibly arrested
Do Not bring illegal narcotics onto the site, they will be confiscated and you will be reported to the Police.
Do Not drink too much, you will only ruin your own enjoyment and that of those around you
Do not act before you think, please be aware of the safety of yourself and those around you at INDIE-PENDENCE
Stages – The festival hosts three stages, The main outdoor stage is the Bavaria Stage, there’s the Cyprus Avenue Arena which is our 800 person capacity main tent while The Red Bull Village is home to the Red Bull Tepee Tent.
Camping – There is no public camping at this year’s event. There is lots of accommodation available in the area. Please do not camp illegally.
FOOD & DRINK
Food & Drink – There is a variety of high quality food available on site while the bars and restaurants of Mitchelstown are just a few short minutes walk away.
