Bressie or Niall Breslin of The Blizzards is heading out solo after success in recent years with The Blizzards. One of Irelands bigger bands, Bressie still felt he had more in him and as such in January 2010 decided to record some solo stuff.
His debut solo single entitled, ‘Can’t Stay Young (Forever)’ has been getting some good airplay and the forthcoming album is untitled but should be with us in the summer.
The gig takes place in Whelans on Wednesday 29th June. Tickets are priced at €15 inclusive of booking fee and those will be on sale this Friday 13th May at 9am from Ticketmaster.ie and outlets nationwide.

“I love doing my mad scientist routine in the studio, but live in front of an audience is still what it’s all about. We’ve got a show coming up in Whelan’s at the end of June which, although the nerves will be jangling, I absolutely can’t wait for!”
