Fresh off a Meteor Choice nominated album with Bell X1, Paul Noonan has announced his first side project away from the band.

Printer Clips sees Noonan collaborate with an embarrassingly impressive wealth of talent for both a new album an an intimate live performance in the National Concert Hall on 24 May.

Described by Noonan an “intimate imprint” of music that was recorded in “hallways, basements & bedrooms in Montreal, New York, Dublin & London.” Printer Clips will take the forms of a series of duets, for which Noonan has assembled an delightful cast of female vocalists from both Ireland and abroad.

The live show in the NCH will feature the talents of Lisa Hannigan,  Gemma Hayes, Maria Doyle Kennedy, Cathy Davey,  Danielle Harrisson and  Caoimhin O’Raghallaigh.

The album meanwhile features Joan As Policewoman, Martha Wainwright, Amy Millan and Julia Stone, as well as all the others mentioned above.
