Happy Arthur’s Day

Guinness 250Well Happy Arthur day to you all, i imagine the amount of sick days tomorrow will be obscene.Diageo and Guiness have turned this into a worldwide event and a musical one at that with every penny of tickets sold for the gigs around the world going into the Arthur Guiness Fund which is setup to help Social and Local Projects. Its not quite a charity but Guiness themselves are ploughing 5 Million into it and all the money from the gigs and lots of good and well deserving projects will benefit from it.

The Black Eyed Peas are to headline celebrations in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Sean Paul is the headline act in Lagos

Dublin (with it being Guiness) is the focal point, with gigs in venue’s all over dublin, In St James Gate Brewery will be hosted by Cat Deeley and Ronan Keating and will be joined by Colin Murray, Michelle De Swarte and michelle doherty  who are presenting live from the four studio venues. The Arthurs day celebrations will be live in ireland, uk,us, africa via broadcasting partners Sky, ITV2 and DirecTV.

In Dublin 33 events will be taking place around Dublin with Major performances at St James Gate and the 4 studio venues, there will be 28 intimate gigs around pubs in dublin hosting local acts and a surprise guest artist from the A-list line-up.
