The Spikes to release new EP “We Are”
Irish rock band THE SPIKES have emerged from the studio with a new 3 track EP titled WE ARE.
They have racked up chart success with “In Love No More” which made Phantom FM’s top 50 in 2007 and had a track “Showman” featured on the Munster Heineken Cup DVD. “Fear Seo” was part of the Ceol 07 Compilation, They have supported some top bands including BRMC, Republic of Loose, Mark Ronson and Sister Sledge and playing the Trinity Ball in 08
This EP includes three tracks: “Chain Me”, “Betty Ford” and “Super Modern Queen”. Recently recruited producer Mark Reddy who has worked with the likes of James Morrison, has finally given THE SPIKES the fuel that their fire has been craving. After releasing this they hope to complete their 2nd album later on this year.
THE SPIKES live show has recently been described as “The Strokes with a frontman that would give Julian Cope a stroke” after they sold out their comeback gig at The Academy 2 in Dublin last month.
