Whelans 20 Years Celebrated by Special gigs
Arguable Irelands best venue, the venue most acts start out in for sellout intimate gigs WHELANS is 20 years in business this month and to celebrate Whelans is inviting Mundy and Delorentos to kick off a series of special gigs to commemorate its opening in 1989 (im good at the old maths you see)
And you couldnt have 2 acts going in more different ways, Mundy has just released his new album Strawberry Blood which sounds pretty tasty and Delorentos are putting the finishing touches to their final album release as the band will be separating after the album is released.
Mundy will play April 23rd, 24th, and 25th with the Delo’s set to play on May 22nd and 23rd as part of their farewell tour.
Tickets for Mundy’s shows will be €23 and you can see the Delorentos for €17.
There are more items planned but as yet
And there’s a tonne of other special events in the works, including live broadcasts, surprise parties and more live music from some of the venue’s favourite acts.
