Crystal Castles in the Academy
Glastonbury’s Bad Boys and Girls, The Electro Obscure Rock of Crystal Castles are heading to Irish shores to put on an October 1st Show for Irish fans. The Venue is the Academy and I’m sure you can expect quite a show from the guys who got kicked off stage at Glastonbury. This is their second visit this year after a mega set at ALT in April.
Tickets go on sale 9am Thursday 31st July.
Since forming in the summer of 2004, Crystal Castles, the Toronto-based duo of Ethan Fawn and Alice Glass have amassed a cult following through their uncompromising and intense delivery, a slew of limited edition singles, and shows packed solely from word of mouth.
Their 7” singles have sold out almost instantly, they have toured extensively in the UK, Europe, and North America with artists such as the Klaxons and Metric, and remixed songs for Bloc Party and the Klaxons, among others.
