Mark Geary is set to play Whelans on Friday 7th November to support the release of his third album ‘Opium’. Two years in development, ‘Opium’ follows Geary’s crtically aclaimed 2004 album ‘Ghosts’ which went Gold in Ireland.

Geary’s other Irish dates for 2008 include a slot at Electric picnic aswell as Moon River Sessions in Carrig on Shannon Aug 7, The Empire in Belfast 6 Nov, The Spirit Store in Dudalk 14 Nov and Roisin Dubh in Galway 15 Nov. Tickets for the Whelans date are priced at e20.
