  1. Ugh... could they of picked a more boring band to open it up?
  2. i have to agree, BUT coldplay are still a massively known band who write hugely popular tunes

its a guarunteed sell out, and thats what they want the first few gigs

i will be interested to see who comes over the next few months
  3. Heard rumours that Paul McCartney is due to take two nights there in March. And yes, they could have picked a lot more boring bands than coldplay to open it.
  4. Coldplay are everything that is wrong with music and surely the opening of Irelands most historic venue could of warrented a IRISH band, anyone?
  5. I thought it'd be an Irish band as well. Snow Patrol possibly with 2 or 3 Irish bands supporting them.
  6. should of been fella.
  7. That might have been a good gig, cept snow patrol are holed up in europe recording the new album

im glad its not u2 opening it though, its just very cliche

the frames would have sold that out

    FRAMES
    BELL X1
    Fight Like Apes
    Ham Sandwich
    Delorentos

    Irish musical sexual night

i wish i owned the point i mean the o2, but you get the o2, i mean the point
  8. They should of got the all Cuffe has said and had a music evening.
People are far easier to be attracted by a rake of bands than one overrated shit one!
