Swell Season for December Dublin Gig

The Enigmatic and unique show that is Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova as “The Swell Season” will be entertaining us again after quality shows at both glastonbury and oxegen this year.

A bit of an early christmas present they are to play the Olympia Theatre on December 2nd 2008

At both Glastonbury and Oxegen Glen and Marketa were supported by a full band, who just happen to be the remaining members of the frames which resulted in them banging out tunes from both the frames and swell season catelogue with Marketa playing the part of lisa hannigan where appropriate.

Remember these guys are academy award winners, which actually has actually no bearing on the gig or ticket sales really but i guess we can continually mention it out of irish pride.

Tickets are not too steep at €31.60 and will be on sale Friday the 18th of July at the usual 9pm from ticketmaster and the usual outlets
