HWCH 2008
The Hard Working Class Heros festival returns this Septemeber to various venues around Dublin. Now in it’s 6th year, HWCH once again offers the best in new Irish music crammed into one action packed weekend. HWCH has returned to Temple Bar for this years festival after taking up residence in the Pod complex for last years mayhem. The venues for this years musical faire are Andrew’s Lane Theatre, The Button Factory, Meeting House Square, Eamon Dorans and The Hub. This year’s foreign invasion comes from Scotland and will be curated by Sons and Daughters, who will be charged with bringing over with them scotland’s finest new talent.
HWCH 2008 Takes place from Friday 12th to Sunday 14th of September. Bands wishing to play can apply through www.hwch.net before July 2nd.

I'll certainly be at this after last year's fun and frolics. The venues sound pretty cool too, except that you'll have to cross Dame Street to get at Andrew's Lane.

Great to see Sons and Daughters getting in on the act. Definately would respect their taste and ability to pick out a smattering of lovely bands.
